Welcome to my blog!
I am so excited to have you here.
Who am I?
Well, I am a small town Young Adult/Adult Librarian working in the heart of Missouri. I started working at a library when I was 16 after the librarians actually called me at my home to let me know of the opening. I had been in there so much, they thought I was a great addition!
It's been many years now and I've had many different jobs, but I'm still at my same library. I love being the teen librarian and talking books with reluctant readers. Beyond that, teens who love to read are about the coolest kids out there.
I am also the Adult Librarian which means I do all of the Adult Programming! I orchestrate FIVE (yes five, oye) book clubs throughout four different towns. Each book group is a little different but its always fun and a wee bit wacky.
On a personal note, I am a romanceaholic. I love to read anything romance. I enjoy historical, contemporary and parnormal romance. Anything with teeth I usually like, but I haven't gotten into the zombie thing yet. We'll see though, there is always tomorrow!
So between the five bookclubs, the teen reading, and my personal love of romance books, I consider myself a fairly well read person...or at least trying to be!
I started my blog as a way to keep track of the books I read and what I thought of them. I read 10-20+ books a month, so sometimes its hard to remember which book is about what and why I thought that about it. So this little blog helps me keep track! I'm not the best writer, but I do love sharing the love of books and my favorite books with everyone. I also like to steer people away from bad books, because...Life is WAY WAY too short to read a bad book!

I love an array of authors, but these are people I am a little in love with!
Just a few of my favorite book-ish quotes
“Wear the old coat and buy the new book.”
- Austin Phelps

“We read to know we are not alone.”
- C.S. Lewis

“You're the same today as you'll be in five years except for the people you meet and the books you read.”

“Reading takes us away from home, but more important, it finds homes for us everywhere.”
- Hazel Rochman
