Q: What would your prefer: reading your favorite book over and over again until you got sick of it OR reading 100s of mediocre books? And why?
I read 3-5 books a week. I love to re-read, but couldn't imagine only having one book for the rest of my life!
I have some favorites...
that i could re-read once a month, but I would rather read hundreds of mediocre titles.
I need to be entertained !!! :)
how about you?

I see what you mean. It's nice to keep things fresh. Ahh, I've heard good things about the Black Dagger series! :)
ReplyDeleteI love Nobody's Baby But Mine. It's one of my all time favorite romances :). I would rather read one of my favorite books forever but I understand your logic. It's a good thing we don't really have to make this choice.
ReplyDeleteNew follower.
I totally agree with you! I love my favourite books but I definitely need some variety in my life. :)

I do not know if I would want to settle for mediocre over my favorite. Very Tough Question, but I choose Favorite. Thanks for sharing and for stopping by my blog today! Old Follower
ReplyDeleteI like variety too. You never know when a book someone else says is mediocre will become your favorite. New follower. Have a great weekend!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today. You make a valid point about mediocre sometimes being better than being bored!

I agree! I do not read than many books a week, but I'd also prefer reading 100 mediocre books. And I'll have to read these favorites you mentioned some day...
ReplyDeleteBut what if the mediocre books AREN'T entertaining?!?! No, no, I can't take the risk. ;-)
